God you gave me something to fight for when I was tempted
to give up.
A grace not of my own.
A receptive heart willing to let your spirit move me.
Your compassion as a banner of love.
The courage to look adversity in the face overcoming it.
Now I am in debt to my God who is my higher power
taking refuge in him.
A unconditional love that amazes me.
That is the strength throughout the journey.
